Community Batik
A culturally-rich drawing form (“batik” is derived from Javanese words meaning the dot and to write) that has been practiced in the region for a long time is led by batik specialist, Kamal Dollah. Kamal will be doing the wax printing live as children and families are welcomed to drop dye onto the 8-metre long batik piece. Kamal invites all to create freely with him to complete the batik.
